We offer you a relaxed, informal setting where you will always receive a warm welcome. 

We serve traditional pub food, with all your favourites including our delicious beer battered fish and chips, homemade pies and locally sourced high quality steaks. A Special’s Board is also available, with extra special seasonal dishes. Our menu also features a selection of traditional desserts, such as jam roly poly with custard, caramel apple pie and sticky toffee pudding! 

On Sundays we have our fantastic roasts, available with all the usual trimmings. 

A children's menu is also now available. 

Our bar features a range of draught beers, spirits and cask ales. We also offer quality wines from around the world. A range of coffees are also available.

To the rear of Cross Axes, we have a wonderful beer garden – perfect for sunny days and a large free car park.
